21c Museum Hotel Nashville honored among Best New Hotels by USA TODAY’s 10Best

21c Museum Hotel Nashville is among the best new hotels in the country, according to the readers of USA Today. The boutique hotel, contemporary art museum and Gray & Dudley restaurant claimed the sixth spot in the 2017 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice travel awards in the Best New Hotel category, highlighting properties that opened in 2017.

“21c is so much more than just a place to spend the night,” said Philip Forte, general manager of 21c Museum Hotel Nashville, “Guests of 21c will find unprecedented opportunities to engage with contemporary art, enjoy locally-sourced food and drink and experience genuine, modern southern hospitality. We’re honored that our guests feel as passionately about these attributes as we do.”

21c Nashville is an adaptive reuse of the Gray & Dudley Building, preserving the building’s historic elements while creating a versatile platform for exhibiting contemporary art. Bringing new life to the 100-year-old building, 21c Nashville offers 10,500 square feet of contemporary art exhibition space open free of charge to the public; a 124-room boutique hotel including seven rooftop terrace suites; and Gray & Dudley restaurant and bar, led by Executive Chef Levon Wallace.

This is not 21c’s first appearance on the 10Best lists, 21c Museum Hotel Lexington claimed the fifth spot in the 2016 poll in the Best New Hotel category. 21c Museum Hotel Durham also received top honors in the 2015 poll.

Nominees for all categories are chosen by a panel of relevant experts which include a combination of editors from USA TODAY; editors from 10Best.com; relevant expert contributors; and sources for both these media and other Gannett properties.
