2018 has been a year for the books! From our first cultural programming events in January to our New Year’s Eve Celebrations, we couldn’t be happier to have shared these moments with you. Here’s a look back at 2018 in numbers:

Two new penguins are joining the flock: Des Moines and Chicago

All 7 eligible properties landed on Conde Nast Traveler’s Readers Choice

Hosted 14 internationally-recognized artists for lectures

Presented 31 exhibitions

Elevate@21c featured work by 14 local artists across 6 properties

60 trucks loaded and unloaded after driving over 13,000 miles and transporting 1500 artworks during change-outs

2,300 Thanksgiving dinners shared with guests at 21c restaurants

12,480 people attended docent tours and cultural programming

With the opening of 21c Kansas City in July, our multi-venue contemporary art museum is now 76,700 Sq Feet
