Andrew Carter began working as a Housekeeping Manager at 21c Museum Hotel Louisville in 2009. He credits 21c with giving him “the opportunity to learn many new skills through the years. I have learned that consistency and strong follow up go a long way.”

His new skills were put to the test when Andrew was offered the opportunity to oversee the opening of 21c Museum Hotel Durham as Operations Manager. Andrew’s genuine knack for modern Southern Hospitality shone brightly in the Bull City.

Following his success in the Bull City, Andrew continued on the path of advancement. He returned home to the Bluegrass State and is now General Manager of 21c Museum Hotel Lexington.

“Everyday is different and unique. And the 21c Team is truly like a family to me.”

What’s next for Andrew?  After two moves and a string of promotions, Andrew is enjoying some well-earned time off. He recently welcomed his first daughter and is taking advantage of 21c Museum Hotels’ parental leave benefits. Congrats on the newest member of the 21c family!
