21c is thrilled that VP, Museum Director Alice Gray Stites will be participating at PULSE Contemporary Art Fair in New York City, taking place May 8th-11th. Alice will be a panel member for PULSE Perspectives, a fresh series of programming consisting of daily round table discussions, which will explore ideas within contemporary art and the art market. Led by prominent industry insiders, these conversations will grant fairgoers intimate and exclusive access to critical issues and current themes within the industry. Centered on the theme – New Models – for this edition of the fair, these conversations will focus on issues related to curating, collecting, and new media, as well as the context of evolving exhibition spaces and altering platforms. Visitors are invited to join the table and to listen and engage with the pair of speakers during these informal and organic daily discussions.
Alice will also serve as a guest jury member for PULSE Prize, a jury awarded cash grant given to an artist of distinction featured in a solo exhibition at the fair.
