The second interview in our series is from Christopher Davis, who works at Metropole restaurant at 21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati.
What is your job?
I am a line cook at Metropole.
What skills are required?
Communication and team building skills and a basic understanding of culinary techniques. A thirst for knowledge and passion helps too.
What do you love about working at 21c?
The question is, what don’t I love? I love that we are a culture of yes, that we work as a family, not just individuals working at the same place, and that they promote from within and create an environment that is welcoming and open to experimentation. Being a part of a team that seeks my input goes a long way and really separates itself from other restaurants.
