The fourth interview in our series is from Bob Winslow, who works at Metropole restaurant at 21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati.
What is your job? Line Cook.
What skills are required? First of all, you have to be willing to learn. Your team is your best tool, and you have to be able to work with all kinds of personality types and work well under pressure, by yourself and together with your fellow cooks. A sense of urgency is key, as well as being organized and good at multitasking. Superhuman strength doesn’t hurt either.
What do you love about working at 21c? I love that I get to come in everyday and work with this team of talented and goofy people. And even though I have been in this kitchen for years, I still learn every something single day. That’s impressive.
