Top 7 Dog-Friendly Spots in Louisville

Traveling with your four-legged companion? Well, you’re in luck! Louisville is a very dog-friendly city. Here are a few of our favorite places to take our furry friends.

TEN20 Craft Brewery

Venture into the historic neighborhood of Butchertown and find the newly opened TEN20 Craft Brewery. It’s the perfect spot for a cold beer and good time with your human and four-legged friends!

PG&J’s Dog Bar

Dog park meets bar at the (also) newly opened PG&J’s Dog Bar. Sit, relax and sip, while your favorite pal makes news friends at their off-leash dog park. Just be sure to bring your pup’s current vaccination records with you to enter!

Garage Bar

Grab a seat on the astroturf, and indulge in wood-fired pizzas and craft cocktails at this auto-service garage turned bar. Located in NuLu, Garage Bar is the perfect place to watch the sun go down with your best friend.

Great Flood Brewing

Located in the Highlands, Great Flood Brewing is one of the most dog-friendly (and kid-friendly) breweries in the city! As long as your dog is on a leash, you can bring them in the taproom while you play board games and sip on house brews. While they do have food trucks visit the taproom on occasion, they also allow you to bring in your own grub or order-in delivery.

Vines and Canines

Located right next door is a cozy wine bar with vino from around the world. At Vines and Canines, they believe “there to be only two necessities in life: a good dog, and a great bottle of wine.” Have a mix of beer drinkers and wine connoisseurs in your crew? Good news… Great Flood and Vines actually share a small patio space so everyone can enjoy their drink of choice together!

Apocalypse Brewery

Apocalypse Brew Works, a cozy micro brewery nestled in between Mellwood & Frankfort Avenues. Soak up some well-deserved vitamin-D and small-batch craft beer with your pal on their outdoor patio.

Monnik

Located in the heart of the Schnitzelburg, is Monnik Beer Co. brewery and restaurant. Their specialty is locally sourced, European-American inspired fare and rotating seasonal dutch brews. Grab a table for you and your hound on their spacious backyard patio.
