This statement may be a matter of opinion, but in the case of Bourbon, even Uncle Sam approves. The 1964 Act of Congress declared bourbon ‘America’s Native Spirit’ and with the help of Kentucky’s own Senator Jim Bunning, September 2007 was declared ‘National Bourbon Heritage Month’.
