Last weekend amid the culinary celebration and foodie camaraderie, our very own Chef Jonathan Searle of Lockbox won the People’s Choice award for the Grill Invitational portion of the Cincinnati Food & Wine Classic. And we can understand why. The winning dish? A wood fired roasted Berbere quail with watermelon rind pickles, sweet’n’sour cabbage and fresh coriander. This little bird is doing us proud in a big way.
