On November 12th at 7pm, join 21c Louisville, Louisville Public Media, and 90.5 WUOL for the last New Lens concert of 2023, featuring local intercultural ensemble, Saw Peep!

Formed in 2017, Saw Peep plays intercultural music from the Silk Road, South and Southeast Asia, and the Mediterranean. Saw Peep’s focus is on the folk and composed music of Asian and Asian-diasporan composers. The group’s name derives from a type of bowed fiddle made of a large metal can common in the Isan region in Northeast Thailand.

New Lens concerts are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, grab a cocktail and view the current exhibits, or visit Proof on Main for a bite to eat. Seating opens at 6:30pm and the program begins at 7pm, held in the 21c Louisville atrium.
