21c Museum Hotel Lexington and WRFL 88.1 FM Radio Free Lexington are pleased to present an ongoing series of music performances. October’s performance will feature Helado Negro opened by Italian Beaches and a DJ set by Robert Beatty. A cash bar will also be available.

Roberto Carlos Lange performs electronic pop under the stage name Helado Negro. His music, especially the new album Private Energy, is a melodic and beautifully produced meditation on identity and the difficulty of connection. Local female-fronted group Italian Beaches performs engaging experimental electronic music. Italian Beaches’ frequency-based visual/experimental Electro-Jazz-Pop ensemble creates unique audible places in the mind. Local artist and musician Robert Beatty will perform a DJ set.
