ArtPrize is partnering with 21c Museum Hotels for Pitch Night, an evening where a panel of judges will chose a winner, who receives a $5,000 grant to realize their proposal at 200 Ottawa during ArtPrize 2016.

Five artists will be selected to give a five-minute presentation using five slides each. A panel of five experts and the audience will be able to ask questions of the artists following the presentations.

The judges for Pitch Night Durham are:

• Cora Fisher, Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art – Curator of Contemporary Art
• Sabine Grufffat, UNC Chapel Hill – Assistant Professor of Art
• Kelly McChesney, Flanders Art Gallery – Director
• Beverly McIver, Duke University – Esbenshade Professor of the Practice in Studio Arts
