Looking for an outdoor adventure? Luckily you don’t have to go far to experience all that nature has to offer. Lake Hefner has long been a favorite spot for many, with trails for biking, running, in-line skating, or a casual walk to take in a sunset. The lake features sailing and kitesurfing, as well as one of the state’s largest public golf courses. If you enjoy kayaking or paddle boarding Stinchcomb Wildlife Refuge is the place for you. You can even enjoy the outdoors downtown, the 17-acre public park, Myriad Botanical Gardens that includes a conservatory, outdoor grounds, water features, and even a dog park there really is something for everyone here. Spend an afternoon at Scissortail Park, located in the heart of downtown to the shore of the OK River. with You can’t go wrong with a trip to the Oklahoma City Zoo, check out the Great Escape exhibit, or have a chance to feed the giraffes.

Start your day with some breakfast tacos at Stitch Café, conveniently located around the corner from the hotel. Fuel up at one of our favorite local coffee shops, which include (but most certainly not limited to) Elemental Coffee, Clarity Coffee and EÔTÉ Coffee. In the mood to Brunch? You can’t go wrong with Shrimp and Grits from Cheevers Café or the famous French Toast from our neighbors over at The Jones Assembly. If the weather is nice, check out the rooftop patio at Packard’s for a great view, great atmosphere, and even better food.
Oklahoma City has a vibrant art scene waiting for you. A must-see on the list is Factory Obscura, and Oklahoma City-based art collective creating immersive experiences that awaken wonder, build community, and make the world better. Looking for more contemporary art? The newly opened Oklahoma Contemporary is sure to wow you.
