Spalding at 21c: Voice and Vision
June 27, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
An event every month that begins at 6:00 pm on day Fourth of the month, repeating until August 22, 2019
Join us for our monthly literary showcase! 21c Louisville is proud to partner with Spalding University’s School of Creative and Professional Writing to present Spalding at 21c: Voice and Vision. This seasonal forum, held on the fourth Thursday of each month, May-August, provides an opportunity for writers to share samples of their work with each other and the public in the context of the cutting-edge contemporary art exhibitions at 21c. Each month will feature a variety of readings by writers from area universities, community writers’ groups, Spalding alumni, and independent writers.
The evening will begin with a few open-mic presentations of 1- to 2-minute readings of works in progress, followed by featured readings. Individuals may sign up for an open-mic presentation on a first-come, first-served basis just before the evening program begins. Open-mic readings should be rehearsed and carefully timed at home not to exceed two minutes.
>RSVP and invite friends via Facebook
And don’t forget, Proof on Main is here for you should the literary endeavors leave you famished after the event.
