Cook to the Root Cocktail Reception

Calling all chefs, cooks, culinary students, Fresh Stop Market chef liaisons, and cooking enthusiasts! Join 21c and New Roots on SUN 04.17.16 from 6pm – 9pm to learn why New Roots needs your help uniting communities to end food injustice. New Roots is seeking volunteers to provide on-site cooking demonstrations for their ten bi-weekly Fresh Stop Markets located in fresh food-insecure neighborhoods during the 20-week season that kicks off in June.

We will be offering complimentary beet-infused tequila cocktails, beet gelato from Gelato Gilberto, and farm-fresh bites prepared by Proof on Main executive chef, Mike Wajda. You can learn more about the Fresh Stop Markets and sign up for the 100 available cooking slots at the cocktail reception.
