ArtPrize is teaming up with 21c Museum Hotel Louisville to host Pitch Night – a one-night event where an artist will leave with a $5,000 grant to create an ambitious installation at a centrally-located ArtPrize Venue during the ninth annual event this fall.

On SUN 04.02.17 at 6pm, join us for an Information Session about ArtPrize and the Pitch Night grant program. Leticia Bajuyo, winner of the 2016 Pitch Night held at 21c Louisville, will speak about her experiences and share tips for artists interested in presenting their work at ArtPrize. Proposals are now being accepted for Pitch Night Louisville through April 26. Artists are invited to submit proposals for an installation on Lyon Square, in the heart of the ArtPrize district. Five artists will be selected to give a five-minute presentation at the Pitch Night Louisville event on 05.15.17 at 7pm, using five slides each. A panel of five expert judges (to be announced soon) and the audience will be able to ask questions of the artists following the presentations. The panel will select the winner, awarding the winning artist a $5,000 grant to realize their proposal at Lyon Square during ArtPrize Nine, 09.20.17-10.08.17.
