Join us for Music at the Museum on June 22 with guitarist Nick Schillace, who will play in our Main Gallery from 7pm-9pm.

Nick has been immersed in music for over 30 years, beginning his studies under Dr. James T. Lidgett and mastering classical, jazz, and contemporary styles. His passion for traditional American music was further ignited through his time in the southern United States, learning from legends like John Jackson and Pat Donahue. With a graduate thesis on 20th-century American music from Wayne State University and numerous scholarships to his name, Nick has established himself as a significant solo and ensemble performer, with over 12 albums in the American Primitive guitar canon. He tours extensively as both a performer and educator and has been the driving force behind Orion Music Studio since 2000.
