21c Museum Hotel Lexington invites you to a pre-festival kickoff reception in celebration of Filmslang artists. Now entering its seventh year, the annual Lexington-based film festival is dedicated to showcasing bold and fiercely independent films by filmmakers from Kentucky and her border states. Each fall, Filmslang screens new narrative, student, documentary, animated and experimental films from emerging and established filmmakers, with the mission to highlight and foster the work of regional filmmakers and provide the thriving city of Lexington with four days of innovative and entertaining storytelling.
