The sun is out and the taps are flowing at Metropole: join us for a 4-course Beer Dinner tasting with pairings from Rockmill Brewery. We’re kicking off this week-long dinner on Father’s Day, SUN 06.15.14, so grab your dad and kick back a few of these belgian-style brews. Stuck with the whole family on Father’s Day? Make it a total dude’s night on WED 06.18.14 when brewers from Rockmill will be around to talk about their beers. The brewery will showcase the following brews:

Witbier: A crisp, clean beer with a refreshing body with citrus bouquet & subdued bitterness.

Tripl: Rich & full-bodied with dried fruit and delicate Saaz in the nose.

Petit Sasion: A new brew yet to be released.

About the brewery: Located on a farm in Lancaster, Ohio outside of  Columbus, Rockmill was founded by Matthew Barbee. With a family background in wine, Barabee started out as a sommelier’s assistant. After being inspired by the potential for dynamic, aromatic beers to be paired with foods much like wine, he decided to try his hand at brewing. Barbee was then inspired by the potential of his family’s property, which was once a horse farm, as the location of a brewery and after testing the water on their land, he found the conditions were perfect for creating a the belgian-style beers for which Rockmill is now known.
