21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati is proud to present Opticks: A Laser Odyssey, by Lapis Laser Display, which will create a ‘light ceiling’ above Gano Alley for 4 nights during BLINK Festival. Constructed of mounted mirrors, high-powered laser beams and fog machines, this temporary installation will erase and reveal a web of ever-changing lights overhead. Inspired by “the colour’d Image of the Laser,” this light display is a reference to Sir Isaac Newton’s description of the rainbow effects that were the result of his early experiments with prisms.
Thirsty? Make your way to our Cocktail Terrace for refreshments by Metropole and unforgettable views of downtown Cincinnati.
Avoid the stress of driving home after the festival and book a staycation with the Yellow Penguin. Take home a limited edition blacklight print tote from BLDG with our Think Blink package. To reserve, call 513.578.6600 or use preferential code: ‘BLINK’
