Calling all wine lovers: The Hive invites you to join us for this month’s installment of Wine & Dine Wednesdays. Our first event was such a hit, we’ve decided to turn it into a regular dinner series featuring a new wine maker on the last Wednesday of every month. March’s event will feature a 5-course dinner prepared by Chef Matthew McClure with pairings from Presqu’ile wines. We’ll start the night off with a welcome cocktail and passed canapés, followed by coursed pairings with the winery’s own Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Estate Pinot Noir and the Reserve Pinot Noir. A night full of feasting & wine swilling will culminate in a presentation by Presqu’ile Wines.
About the winemaker: Presqu’ile arose from the Murphy family’s penchant for fine wines, an inclination for adventure, and the discovery of Santa Maria Valley’s ideal terroir. The valley’s unique climate proved choice for creating wines that are both complex and distinctive to this stunning region. Their 200 acre property includes 73 acres dedicated to sustainably farmed vineyards where they craft the Santa Maria Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah.
