The Art of Tango

$10 – $15Tango – one of the most influential dance styles in the world – is bringing the art of dance to the museum. Discover the sultry language of the Argentine Tango from local instructor Elayne James as she guides you through the fundamentals, framework and adaptation of the dance through various styles of music. All levels of dance experience welcomed. Casual dress and comfortable shoes are highly recommended. Class is $10 per person or $15 per couple at the door.

About the Instructor
Elayne James, owner of Elayne’s Dance – The Art of Social Dancing, has a passion for dance. Traveling extensively to study with renowned professionals from NYC’s Broadway to Buenos Aires’ barrios, Elayne has developed her skill and knowledge with celebrated dancers across the globe. She has toured Italy, France, Ireland, Norway and across the U.S. In Northwest Arkansas, Elayne’s participation in festivals, fundraisers, organizations, schools and theaters has earned her a solid reputation as one who teaches with clarity and enthusiasm. Elayne motivates students to exceed their expectations and strives to bring social dancing into the mainstream of American culture.
