Join us for a night of the abstract and experimental. The showcase will feature the Abstract Short Film Program by local and regional artists. Beginning at 6:30pm there will be live music, plus The Hive bartenders will be serving up alternative rock and abstract themed cocktails. Beginning at 7pm we’ll launch into a series of film screenings. From 8:30pm – 9:00pm Travis Keymer and Dillon Dooms will perform as White Mansion and Popsicle of Doom, a live music and glitch video interactive performance. To wrap up the evening join us in The Hive lounge for the afterparty.

Our goal is to present short films characterized by the absence of linear narrative, the use of various abstracting techniques—out-of-focus, painting or scratching on film, rapid editing—the use of asynchronous sound or even the absence of any sound track.
