About the Exhibition
In the spring of 2012, 21c architect Deborah Berke and Noah Biklen led a design studio at the Yale School of Architecture to design a bourbon distillery in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. The studio examined how urban manufacturing is reemerging in cities in the form of small, agile companies that compete and collaborate as part of decentralized interdependent regional networks. Student’s renderings and models were exhibited September 8-24, 2012 in Gallery Four.
