About the Exhibition

Elevate at 21c presents temporary exhibitions of works by artists living and working in the communities surrounding Bentonville. Elevate provides hotel guests and public visitors alike with unique access to the work of notable regional artists while featuring their work in the context of 21c’s contemporary art space.

Based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Déa Self creates bold, colorful works based on the ranging seasons of the Ozarks. With large intertwining brushstrokes, Self builds a tactile world of foliage and greenery that can evoke the joyfulness of spring or the sorrow of winter.
