As part of our commitment to making contemporary art a part of daily life, 21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati is partnering with Visionaries and Voices to present free monthly art classes in the gallery spaces at 21c. This month’s V+V@21c class will feature Teaching Artist Chaz Anderson! Chaz Anderson is drawn to faces throughout time that have impacted history, from King Tut to Martin Luther King, Jr. Using a variety of canvases, from recycled cardboard to canvas, students will learn how to create a gridded portrait and manipulate oil pastels. And if all the creative energy makes you thirsty, our friends at Metropole are shaking up some specials on their crafty cocktails (just $8/each) and are offering $5 local draft beers for class attendees.
