As part of our commitment to making contemporary art a part of daily life, 21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati is partnering with Visionaries and Voices to present free monthly art classes in the gallery spaces at 21c. In this month’s V+V@21c class, Teaching Artist Linda Kunick, also known as “the butterfly lady,” will use various materials to create colorful and captivating representations of butterflies. Inspired by their beauty and transformative qualities, her artwork incorporates bright hues, varied compositions, and repetitive mark making, which encourages your eye to flit across the surface. In this session, participants will create embroidered bugs, butterflies, and insects using yarn, mesh, and other materials. All materials provided.
