As part of our commitment to making contemporary art a part of daily life, 21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati is partnering with Visionaries and Voices to present free monthly art classes in the gallery spaces at 21c. In this month’s V+V@21c class, Teaching Artist David Callahan – David Callahan is known for his a fanciful expression of an unseen world created by his light hearted and playful imagination. Known for his vibrant palette and unique use of space and shape, he represents figures, faces, homes, trees, and living objects hidden or revealed in layers of color. In this session, participants will create an abstract drawing or landscape using stencils inspired by the unique shapes found in David’s artwork. All materials provided.
