Video Savant Charlie Woodman presents Lateral Thinking, a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience Electronic Art like you’ve never seen it before. A live musical performance will be set to a mashup of science fiction films and the history of avant-garde cinema. As the images on the screen play out, the ensemble will improvise its sound to reflect the changing video. The dynamic evolution of the material will result in a new film soundtrack, composed live, in front of the audience. The event takes place on SUN 04.13.14 from 4pm-6pm and will also have a cash bar. This event is free and open to the public & is presented in conjunction with the Weston Art Gallery. Woodman’s latest exhibition Passages, can be viewed at the Weston Art Gallery in the Aronoff Center from 03.28.14-06.08.14.
