Craving those mid-summer Saturdays at the flea market? We’ve got a little something to wet your whistle. Come on down to preview 30 favorite vendors from the Queen City’s own urban shopping experience, City Flea. Eat at Metropole and catch a glimpse of some cool art, while you’re at it. City Flea, “Cincinnati’s original curated, urban flea market”, will host 30 of their favorite new and seasoned vendors in the museum galleries at 21c. Free and open to the public, the event is family friendly.

“For the first time in six years, we are so excited to offer the community a sneak peak of some of the goodness we have to offer before the official flea season kicks off in May” said Lindsay Dewald, co-founder of City Flea, “Beautiful goods from thoughtful vendors under the roof of 21c, makes for a really unique shopping experience that is inspiring and so much fun.” 

A showcase for the region’s artists and artisans, the market will feature vintage, handmade, floral, and more, including ceramics by Amanda Bialk, textiles and prints by Aesthetical Whim, and wood products by Lucca Laser Workshop. Throughout the market, a film screening will show an artwork from the 21c collection, Chris Doyle’s video animation Waste_Generation.

Metropole will offer a specialty adult slushie as well as the City Flea Lunch, which will feature soup, salad, sandwich and choice of iced tea or soda for $12. Guests will be able to sample food from local vendors in the alley beside Metropole such as Babushka Piorogies, Fireside Pizza, Injoy, Collective Espresso and Streetpops.
