This month’s Gallery Games is a modern take on the classic spelling bee. In a time where our phones and computers autocorrect all our spelling flubs, it’s easy to sound elite in the subculture of $10 words. Once a thing you got graded on, now a skill no one uses, who can actually spell these days? As contestants freely stand before the crowd and attempt to spell such gems as existentialism and polarity, imminent and kaleidoscopic, the champion will soon become clear.
