Wendy Jehlen Performance: Unfamiliar Butterfly
September 23, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free and open to the public
Please join us as we welcome [Artspace] at Untitled for a special presentation of Unfamiliar Butterfly, a performance by dancer and choreographer Wendy Jehlen. Unfamiliar Butterfly is an extended study of vulnerability. The dance is an embodiment of constant change as the structure of the work is loosely based on the life-cycle of a butterfly, and is intended to change in each rendition. This performance is in conjunction with Oklahoma State University’s presentaton of Jehlen’s Lilith, which is named after Kiki Smith’s 1994 artwork of the same name.
Event is free and open to the public.
