Plaza Walls Mural Expo Panel Discussion

Please join us as we welcome local artist Kris Kanaly and Plaza Walls for a panel discussion featuring some of this year’s Mural Expo artists. The discussion will highlight street experiences that murals and public art give to spaces around the world.
The panel discussion is free is and open to the public. It will begin at 6:30pm in Gallery 4 and feature the following artists, moderated by Kanaly:
- Chicago-based artists Merlot and Amuse126
- Puerto Rican artist Anamarietta
- New York City-based artist Wane COD
- Ohio-based artist Monster Steve

ABOUT PLAZA WALLS
Plaza Walls is a curated, rotating mural project in the Plaza District of Oklahoma City managed and produced by The Oklahoma Mural Syndicate (OMS). The project was launched in September 2015 by Dylan Bradway and Kristopher Kanaly with approval by the Oklahoma City Arts Commission and Urban Design Commission. OMS was founded by Brandi Guthery, Dylan Bradway and Kristopher Kanaly with a mission to advocate and create public art throughout Oklahoma.
The Plaza Walls project has become one of the top tourist attractions in the Plaza District. It has received a tremendous amount of support from the surrounding businesses and community – including previous Mayor Mick Cornett, features on morning news, Channel 4 and 5 and featured in many publications like Art Focus, Territory and The Oklahoman.
