Filmography: “The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him/Her.”

August 17, 2018 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Free and open to the public

Art goes to the movies with 21c Oklahoma City’s Filmography, a free monthly film series at 21c Oklahoma City in partnership with deadCenter Film and the OKC Film Society. Filmography takes place on the third Friday of each month.

Join us in August for Ned Benson’s perspective based romance film, “The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him/Her.” Typically when there is more than one version of a film it is safe to say that was not the original intention of the director. However, that is just what Benson set out to do with “The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby,” creating one version from the female’s perspective in the love story and another from the male’s perspective. We will be screening both “Her” and “Him” versions simultaneously; while binary in nature, visitors are encouraged to watch the perspective of the gender they least identify as. There will be a short discussion after the screening.

> RSVP and invite friends to the movies via Facebook
