Presented in partnership with deadCenter Film, we’re sharing the programming love with six creatives composed of film programmers and enthusiasts. Running from February to July, the deadCenter Programming Series focuses on Oklahoma-based women and non-binary programmers and highlights their selected films in the Video Lounge at #21cOKC.

Marisa Carlson, Director of Programming, Simply Indie Film Festival
Marisa has been programming film festivals for nine years. She is currently the Programming Director for Simply Indie Film Fest in Edmond, Oklahoma. Her passion lies in showcasing great independent films and organizing a festival that will allow fun, networking, and growth in the film industry. Marisa schedules film programs throughout the year at local events and serves as a juror for both national and international festivals. She is excited to be part of promoting independent film in her home state.
