Not sure about you – but our pets have really helped us through some rough times this year. We’ve been spending a lot more time at home lately and boy have they noticed! 21c understands the need for the extra snuggles and we’re here to help! In order to make it easier to bring your beloved companions along on your getaway. When booking your stay directly through August 31, 2021, we’ll waive the pet fee!
You’ll find that here in Oklahoma City, there is plenty to do for you and your pet. Here are a few of our favorite spots to take our fur friends:
Located a few blocks away from the hotel is the Myriad Botanical Gardens. This 17-acre facility features free outdoor grounds, including a dog park, of course! Let your dog run free amongst the hills and socialize with the other dogs. If you are interested in exploring more of OKC, try an Oklahoma City Scavenger Hunt! With app led outdoor tours you can discover more about the city’s art, culture, and history with your pet alongside you.
When you have worked up an appetite and ready to kick back with a drink, head over to our neighbors at The Jones Assembly. There patio space is the perfect space to kick back to enjoy good food, drinks, and live music. Another great spot is, The Pump Bar, their pet friendly patio is the spot. Try out their brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
If you’re looking for a little more of the great outdoors, Oklahoma City is lucky to have Scissortail Park, a 70-acre park featuring a variety of engaging experiences for visitors. Enjoy ornamental gardens and woodlands, a 3.7 acre lake, children’s playground and water fountains, a seasonal roller rink, and a performance stage. The park has something for everyone, included a dog park and great lawn for your pup to enjoy.
We know, we know, please hold your a-paws until the end – here are a few things to know for when you stay with us:
- If needed, food & water bowls may be available for your pet upon request – just let us know.
- If you’d like to spoil them, you can also take your pets shopping at our online store!
- Generally speaking, we accept pets up to 50 pounds in certain rooms and will ask guests to complete and sign a pet waiver upon check-in. However, if you have any questions about special accommodations or needs for your pet, please don’t hesitate to call or email us.
