The week of March 9th, a guest at our hotel preliminarily tested positive for COVID-19. With 21c’s first priority first being the safety of our team, our guests and our community, we did temporarily shut down the hotel, restaurant, and museum. During this shutdown, we completed a comprehensive, hotel-wide deep clean with a third party company. With the deep clean complete, we re-opened our doors on March 17th.
The hotel will continue to work with a global team of experts in hygiene and safety, heightening our already vigorous hygiene and prevention measures, with enhanced cleaning procedures and EPA-registered disinfection products with proven efficacy in killing respiratory viruses, including COVID-19.
We remain open and committed to serving our guests and our community. Our focus remains on continuing to welcome each of you with the thoughtful service and unforgettable experiences for which our hotel is known. Though, in accordance with requirements from our local authorities, we are operating with necessarily restricted services, as follows:
• Mary Eddy’s Restaurant X Lounge will offer only in room dining to guests between 7AM to 10PM and dinner carry-out to our community from 10AM to 10PM
• Our fitness center and The Spa at 21c are temporarily closed to both guests and the community
• Our museum galleries are only accessible to hotel guests at this time
Our thoughts remain with the individuals and communities affected across the world as the public health response to COVID-19 continues. As this situation continues to evolve, so will 21c.
