Are you and your girls looking for a little weekend getaway? Look no further, Nashville is calling your name. Check out our list of our favorite spots for a weekend with your friends.
First, on the agenda, check into 21c Nashville where you probably will run into a Teal Penguin supporting the mask mandate. For your safety and the safety of our communities, we ask that you also wear a mask and practice social distancing during your visit. For the most up to date information about all of our cleanliness and wellness policies, designed with the safety of our teammates and guests in mind, click here. Once you are settled into your room head down to Gray & Dudley where Executive Chef Matt Bell and team will provide all the fuel needed for your Nashville adventure. Pro tip: Enjoy Brunch at Gray & Dudley and receive a complimentary 1pm late check out when staying at the hotel. Before you head out on the town, stroll around our gallery space featuring our current exhibition, “Fragile Figures: Beings and Time”.

Make it an art filled afternoon by heading to Tinney Contemporary, Chauvet Arts, and The Art at the Arcade all located in walking distance from the hotel. Make a pit stop at the Ryman Auditorium, to get a taste of the art of country music at the world-famous landmark. You can get a glimpse at the Honky Tonk Highway, as you continue making your way through the heart of downtown Nashville. After dabbling in the country music scene, you’ll find yourself at the Frist Art Musuem, where you can explore all their current exhibitions.

Discover Nashville’s vibrant street art scene, with a self-guided mural tour. If you are enjoying the time spent outdoors, we suggest making time for a visit to Cheekwood Estate & Gardens. While these gardens are always beautiful, now may be the best time to go! With both Cheekwood Harvest and Chihuly at Cheekwood both on display, you’ll experience the gardens like never before.

Looking for a unique experience for you and your friends? How about hand-pouring your own customized candle at the Candle Bar Co? Or for the skincare obsessed group, customize facial oils with organic ingredients at the Lemon Laine Oil Bar. For the more active friend group, try a group workout, try Pilates Garage or Full Ride Cycling.

Now that your stomach is grumbling from all these fun activities, let’s talk food. You have probably heard Hot Chicken come up a time or two when hearing about Nashville, check it out at Party Fowl or Bolton’s Spicy Chicken & Fish. If that isn’t your thing, Nashville is a foodie town with endless options for a great place to eat. We suggest grabbing reservations at Oku (hip new sushi place with great food and atmosphere), Nicky’s Coal Fired (who can say no to pizza?) or Butchertown Hall (barbeque and tacos, need we say more?).
Looking for a drink? you are on vacation after all! Get a taste of Nashville with a tasting at once of our local breweries or distilleries. A couple of our favorites include: Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery, Cosair Distillery and Taproom, or Tennessee Brew Works. Stop for a nightcap from Gray and Dudley, before heading up to your room- try the infamous Gray and Dudley Gin & Tonic, always a crowd-pleaser.
At the end of the day, as long as you’re together, you’re guaranteed to have a memorable time.
