Art and Social Justice: An Interactive Experience

Black Art Speaks is a membership based non-profit art collective, formed to promote Black culture and expression through the uplifting of Black Artist’s voices through every form of art. As we kick off the new year, we’re excited to present our first event of 2023, Art and Social Justice: An Interactive Experience.

Black Art Speaks and ROMAC present an evening filled with conversations (moderated by Yvette Simpson), live art, networking, our final book signing and a sneak peek of our 2023 plans. The panelists for our interactive conversation include Councilmember Scotty Johnson, UC Director, Chanda Monroe-Williams, and Artists Michael Coppage, James Pate and Annie Ruth.
