Your Guide to Cincinnati

Here are a list of open local attractions you must visit!

We are thrilled to welcome you back to travel! As you prepare to hit the road for your next adventure, you’ll find the world a little different from what you remember, but don’t worry, we’ve put together a list of our favorite local spots to help ease all of your planning woes. Here’s our guide to the Cincinnati community for your upcoming visit…

Start your day with a half-mile walk to blaCk Coffee Lounge for a morning coffee to-go. Then stay outside and explore some of the best trails the city has to offer. Located a few minutes from downtown, Mt. Airy Forest is Cincinnati’s largest park with miles long trails and a wheelchair-accessible treehouse, making it a destination for everyone. Venture a little further to Cincy’s second largest (and hilly) hiking destination, French Park. Or stay close to downtown and visit Smale Riverfront Park.

Discover Cincinnati’s vibrant street art scene with a self-guided mural tour, including the recently commissioned Black Lives Matter mural in front of City Hall. Find kid-friendly activities and more contemporary art right around the corner at the Contemporary Arts Center. Take the kids to explore nature and wildlife at the Cincinnati Zoo and Newport Aquarium. While you are on the riverfront, check out Newport on the Levee’s newly opened Bridgeview Box Park, an expansive outdoor space that houses pop up restaurants and food trucks.

Live like a local and visit one of Cincinnati’s trendiest neighborhoods, Over-the-Rhine. This well-preserved 19-century German neighborhood is home to a collection of local shops, craft breweries and farmers market, Findlay Market. Shop locally sourced, high quality foods, then enjoy rotating local craft beers as part of the Biergarten Craft Beer Series.

Once you’ve enjoyed some classic American cuisine from Metropole, continue to support local and dine with some of our neighborhood partners. Indulge in authentic, Mexican street fare from Bakersfield or surprise your taste buds with Liège waffle, fried chicken and hot sauce from Taste of Belgium. Grab to-go and head to Washington Park for a cozy picnic! Compliment your local cuisine with a glass (or let’s be honest, bottle) of vino from Revel OTR Urban Winery.  And don’t forget to save room for dessert! Treat yourself to desserts delivered by Sugar (advance ordering recommended) or a scoop of handcrafted ice cream from the Cincinnati–native, Graeter’s Ice Cream.

Make the most of the day light and unwind with a drink on the patio at Rosedale Kitchen & Bar or soak up the Cincinnati skyline with a beer at Rhinegeist’s rooftop. The Cocktail Terrace at 21c is also open for the season from Wednesday – Saturday 5-10pm. Are you a fan of karaoke? Reserve a private karaoke room for 10 of your closest friends at Toyko Kitty.

In need of a little retail therapy? Shop sustainable, vintage wear from RadOTR or trendy, accessible clothing from Sloane Boutique. Last, but not least, be sure to take home a little piece of our city with maker-made goods from MiCA 12/V.
