7th Annual Hermitage Classic and Fall Festival Returns This Weekend

Purchased in the early 1800’s as part of a Virginia land grant, Hermitage Farm has been a working farm for nearly two centuries. Prior owner, Warner Jones, was the only person to breed winners of the Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Oaks, and a Breeders’ Cup race, making the farm one of the most famous thoroughbred farms in the nation. Queen Elizabeth II visited the farm in 1986.

Now owned by 21c Museum Hotel co-founders Laura Lee Brown and Steve Wilson, the rich legacy of Hermitage Farm continues as the couples expands the vision of the property’s previous owners.

For the 7th year, Hermitage Farm will welcome guests to the annual Hermitage Classic and Fall Festival. Throughout the weekend, guests can escape the city and enjoy exciting combined driving equestrian races, a full-on Fall Festival with family friendly activities on the farm, a tailgate, a 5K Run/Hike and more.
